This work was part of a portfolio of pieces I created while on location in Amsterdam. Focused on capturing the energy and synergy of the city through my lens, I created a portfolio of twenty works of art depicting pattern, color and movement. While this is absolute realism, with no alterations done digitally, it presents as a totally abstract work of art. I love playing with visual perception...this piece pushes that envelope! Printed on handmade, 100% cotton rag paper with deckle edge. It is suitable for matting and framing or, to showcase the beauty of the handmade paper, to be floated within a frame!

Capturing and retracing my journeys in the natural and urban environments result in unexpected juxtapositions. Utilizing pattern, light and nuances of the tamed and untamed aspects in my environment enable me to offer an unexpected perception of the landscape.
