About The Artwork
The inspiration for this piece comes from two influences. I have recently been reading about quantum physics and dynamics etcetera; hence the chaotic movements and colours which brings me to my second influence. As I started the piece with the sun bursting through my window, I could feel spring coming in. The paintings colours and vibrant activity is a representation of life. This piece was painted as you see it but can be hung from any side with equally pleasing effects. The painting continues at the sides thus ready to hang.

I was a member of a busy electronic band as a teenager. I left high school in Stafford, England in 1983 and after working with computers and as an assistant surveyor I moved to London in 1987 at the age of 19. I spent 9 yrs working in the construction industry as a site engineer, as-built surveyor and setting out engineer/site manager on various projects including canary wharf and liverpool street station and many other projects. I eventually moved to North Wales in a recession and set myself up with several stalls in the area selling anything from toys, watches, costume jewellery, collectables and many, many other things. In this period I took jobs/projects in Wales,London and Liverpool but the latest recession hitting hard since 2008 and some illness it has been hard for me to see what else I could get in to. This wasn't hard(as have always been interested in art since I can remember) I new I had time and a large kitchen which is now doubled as my studio and got stuck in to the books, paints, canvasses inter alia and started painting.
