About The Artwork
To create these works, I use a palette knife repeatedly over a surface of thick acrylic paint. I am influenced by Buckminster Fuller's Geodesic Domes in which the domes are created through flat shapes, usually triangles. I am always interested in the extreme repetition in the work of Agnes Martin and Yayoi Kusama, especially Kusama's Infinity Nets.
