About The Artwork

" The borderline" inspired by Buddhist & Shamanic view of the world human and nature relationship. Our existence is largely dependent on our surrounding and nature in terms of the life cycle or cycle of life. This is one of my favourite themes which is I often explore to express it in various ways. Mostly I draw this idea with the symbolic images mixed with realistic figures. This painting has no attachment/D-rings, hanging cord etc to hang it on the wall because it has been planned to assemble in the box frame with the spacer and floating on the backing board. But if you interested in this piece please contact me for further details.

I am a London-based Mongolian-born visual artist. Growing up in the Eastern Bloc, practising Buddhist and Folk Arts in Mongolia, education in Japanese Fine Arts in Tokyo and later moved the UK provoked my curiosity in social-cultural anthropology. I became increasingly aware of my native cultural ideology of "Hooson Chanar", which is influenced by the Buddhist view of Nagarjuna Sunyata. I see and compare social and environmental issues in interrelationships, dependent on each other to exist in harmony and quality of the impermanence of all things. With this view, my works have mostly metaphoric expression whether I choose subjects with figurative objects or abstract shapes.
