About The Artwork
I have always been a figurative painter, even while studying at art college experimenting with hard edge geometry, pop art, minimalism, conceptualism, abstract expressionism! It was all in the mix of our studies...however, it was the figure throughout that held me thrall. This painting is a look back, a nostalgia, for my college days and "life drawing" classes.
