Quasi Infinity (the delusion that one is progressing', when in reality, the human condition is more akin to a perpetual merry-go-round. This painting is an expression of the difficulties I had, as a young child and teenager, relating to or recognizing authority and authoritative figures. The figure on the steps is a red robe judge, who, to me, represented authority and hierarchy at that time. In the painting I'm simply reversing the roles of power, imagery which to me influences my thinking, illustrating the fact that, in the wider scheme of things (life and death), the powerful and the powerless share the same destiny, to become equal. This original is not for sale. However limited edition prints of this artwork will be available. Each image is a limited edition of 100 prints.

I have been producing art in one form or another for most of my life. I would describe my style as realist, whilst the concepts are mostly surreal. I paint mostly for cathartic reasons and feel a powerful sense of psychological progression with every piece of art or sculpture that I create. Im inspired by the work of Francis Bacon, Escher and Hogarth.
