In the mesmerizing composition titled "Nasturcje," a vibrant tapestry of orange nasturtiums dances against a serene backdrop of muted grayish-blue hues. The artist skillfully employs abstract textures, creating a visual feast that transcends the traditional portrayal of flowers. The orange blossoms burst forth with a dynamic energy, their petals capturing the essence of movement frozen in time. The interplay of light and shadow on the nasturtiums contributes to the overall depth of the piece, lending an almost three-dimensional quality to the floral arrangement. The artist's choice of a cool, tranquil background serves to accentuate the warmth and vitality of the orange blooms, creating a harmonious contrast that elevates the visual impact of the composition. The abstract textures, further enhance the painting's uniqueness. These textural elements introduce an element of intrigue, inviting the viewer to explore the surface of the canvas and appreciate the tactile qualities of the artwork. Each brushstroke and texture adds to the overall complexity of the piece, transforming it into a rich tapestry of color and form. "Nasturcje" is a celebration of nature's beauty, skillfully translated onto canvas through a masterful interplay of color, texture, and form. The viewer is invited to lose themselves in the kaleidoscope of orange hues, allowing the imagination to wander amidst the intricate details of this captivating and abstract floral arrangement.

I am a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. My work is "bipolar": figurative and abstract. Both ways complement each other and inspire. Although seemingly they seem to be completely separate, they "nourish" my work, not letting myself burn out. Their common part is color and a reference to dreams, in which nothing is impossible, and parallel worlds permeate. My art is my way to enjoy the world, its beauty and share it with people. In my abstract works, I consider each painting as a separate world, a separate reality that I discover and explore. I like to use forms and shapes associated with nature. Forms similar to leaves, boats, stones, scales. Contours of known reality in an unknown world. I observe their interactions among forms and colors. They float in them and define this world, organize, or allow this world to define it. https://issuu.com/arthabens/docs/biennial.ed.xii
