About The Artwork
I painted this on location (plein air) beside the Uji River south of Kyoto, Japan. I have been going there to paint for over 20 years. I get inspiration from nature, and painters such as Turner, Boudin,Corot. This painting was done with transparent watercolor paints on Arches cotton paper. It would look very nice framed in an antique gold frame.
