I wanted to paint this Japanese garden with exciting colors to keep it alive and take the work into a slightly different world. Japanese gardens can be magical and I want to express this. I am inspired by the fauvists and the Nabis artists. I stretch the canvas myself. You can take a look at how this painting would look in a gold frame.
