My cubist angle on Bernini's incredible sculpture depicts Persephone in the fields of her beloved homeland suddenly being abducted by Hades, dragging her to the underworld to become his wife. her mother Demeter searched the earth for her and eventually found her; nevertheless Persephone was tricked by Hades into staying in the underworld but was allowed to visit earth above 6 months a year thus spring and summer when she walked the earth and autumn and winter when she was in the underworld.

Watch out for my next series of works West meets East as well as my 'modern twist' series. Born and raised in Lincolnshire, UK I write, draw, paint and create. I am a dreamer, constantly creating in my head. My imagination is like no other but I cannot imagine living my life without it! I am married and have 3 kids.
