“Gregor” is a partly humorous, psychological and social work. Based on the current circumstances, difficulty’s of 2020 and their affects on almost every human, “Gregor” connects to Franz Kafka’s famous work “The Metamorphosis .” When our social life and the acceptance of reality is distorted. When being “domesticated” allows and almost forces us to see and bring out or reflect the deepest hidden emotions and thoughts. This social spider with its legs crossed can represent a well behaved social person with all the etiquettes and manners. Only thing is it’s a “spider.”

Nini Khabazi born in 1997 lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is an artist and she studies visual art in visual art, architecture and design school (VAADS) in free university of Georgia. In 2018 she studied fine art in International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg. in 2019 by Erasmus + exchange program she studied masters in Fine Art in Chelsea College of Arts. Nini works in different media (painting, visual art, sculpture, installation, etc.) and materials (oil colors, water colors, crayons, plaster, mixed materials, plastic, etc.) She always had interest in experimenting with styles, colors, materials and so on. in result her works take different aspects from every style And are contemporary, mostly depicting human relations, habits and social ideas and Standards.
