Three black birds in the yard. A symbolic play using ordinary things to stimulate thoughts and freshen the mind. Secret of nature and the universe could be found in the back yard. Bleeding heart tropical flowering plant in the forest light on the vase conversationally serves as a message of the male bird initiation to the female at the wishing well. Red dahlia represents her dream. (Bleeding heart was a plant I saw in NZ and it stayed in my mind since. The name says it all. I think) A couple of years ago, I used to see black birds came in three. They came and share their life with us. It was wonderful. Now things change. It was not an environment for them to express themselves as much. So I drew them in.
