Backyard Hockey Match Print

This work is inspired by my childhood memories of making hockey rinks in the backyards. I hope to convey this feeling to everyone who sees this painting, your games of street or backyard hockey. There is nostalgia in this painting. Living in Canada, we are in winter almost 5 months a year so kids go outdoors and play games such a hockey, make their rinks, gather their friends. On the old neighbourhood balconies, laundry is hung out to freeze, only to be brought in a thaw out in the kith. The fresh smell as clothes thaw permeate the entire house.
