About The Artwork

Anthropocene refers to the geological age of humans--the era where human activity is a defining characteristic of the earth hat affects flora, fauna, environment, etc. In this work I imagine a future architecture composed of trees that have been genetically modified to grow into human habitation. But now defunct they decay against a setting sun.
