The Fairmont Peace Hotel is an exemplary piece of Art deco architecture set in the Far East. Built in 1929 by businessman Viktor Sassoon and designed by P & T (Palmer and Turner) Architects Limited, it has over the last century been through WW2, Japanese occupation and The Chinese Revolution.
