This image started with a desire to create a strong sunshine lit scene and subject but with a large contrast between dark and light. Given that lighting it suggests a mysterious, supernatural and spiritual experience. That brings into play the female subject. Strong sunlight coming to meet her whilst she lurks in the very dark shade of a tree. The expression on her face and body language gives little away so the viewer can spend ages wondering why she is there, whats she thinking, is she hiding or just resting from the sun. Her very sun tanned body will say she likes sunshine but she seems to be avoiding it ir has she got lost out in severe sunshine. There are many possibilities but the inspiration was the effect of sunshine bursting into a shaded area and illuminating a mysterious subjec.
