About The Artwork
Excited with the idea of using various doodles, mark making techniques and materials to express a time period of my family. 'A capsulate of time on board.' The piece can be considered collaborative artwork with my children as they contributed to much of the initial layers. Applying different layering helped to convey a feeling of upliftment. Positive feedback in regards to this has been expressed by viewers and particularly enjoying the different areas your eye can rest upon.
