The art work Divider #2 has been inspired by Japanese culture and Japanese mythology. Nives Pavlovic Vukovic was using different kind of materials from wood, silk and block print (lino) to get a satisfying final result. You can see a long term process of Nives Pavlovic Vukovic's recognizable work thru this unique piece of art. Usually, the divider is used to create a barrier in space of the observer, but with the use of silk ribbons the divider breaks that barrier by creating an optical bridge between people while still maintaining the illusion of boundary. The divider does not serve only as a barrier but as a spatial form adopting artistic values. Opinion of famous artist Pavle Vasic about the artist: "Their diversity and richness in form and color, often in subtle relation, make up the fundamental features of this artist's style. Other ideas are realized by crossing vertical and horizontal lines reduced until the feeling remains that all unnecessary is eliminated. The scale of colors is unlimited but as per rule kept with the peaceful shades".

A connoisseur of artistic principles, but above all, a person moving through art instinctively, by talent, a swarm of ideas, always different yet recognizable by personal sensitivity and feeling of linear, coloristic and multidimensional, Nives Pavlovic-Vukovic creates an art which is dialectic, affective, tactile, breathing and swaying, given space and timeless, inspiring, surprising, but well harmonized. The binding ingredients of the tissue of her works, regardless of the chosen medium are lines and linear plays in the quest for form and meaningful conquest of space. Member of ULUPUDUS since 1981 and ULUS since 2000. Participated at group exhibitions in the country and abroad since 1978. As a free lance artist lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia.
