About The Artwork

Hunger: ball point pen 6.5"x8.5" Hunger, the driving force of life. All living organisms are designed in a chain of hunger. Necessity can be called the mother of invention but hunger is the ultimate mother of necessity. The sketch of skeleton of fish is a representation of that ancient hunger. It also represents that hunger can be satiated as the fish is half eaten. The head is left out because too much of anything is poison. Wars fought, battles won and blood spilled all due to the overpowering temptation of hunger. Hunger itself is a violent word even when it is used to describe its ancient relation with food. But when the word is used to adejtify worldly foes like wealth, power; hunger becomes insatiable. And then finally nothing remains other than bones.
