"Solitary Chair" stands as a bold statement in stillness against a backdrop of vibrant life. The juxtaposition of a single, plexiglas chair against a dynamic interplay of blue and orange hues reflects the profound solitude of existence. This piece is an artistic exploration of the stark reality that we arrive alone and depart in the same solitary fashion. In painting this scene, I was drawn to the metaphor of the chair as a silent witness to the ebb and flow of life. It is an emblem of the singular journey we each undertake, framed by the vivid colors that represent the world's constant motion around us. This artwork, "Solitary Chair," seeks to be a contemplative space in your environment, available as an open edition print.

I originate from a small town nestled in Germany's scenic Black Forest. My journey in art direction has been rewarding, leading me to roles at top advertising agencies like Publicis Groupe, DDB VAC, and McCann Group. My career, defined by a blend of creativity and continual learning, took a significant turn when I founded Gear Factor Co. Ltd., where I combined my creative passion with the dynamic worlds of the event and music industry. With a foundation laid at the University for Communication-Design in Hamburg, I've had the privilege of living and working in diverse cities such as Hamburg, Amsterdam, Munich, and Hong Kong, each adding a unique facet to my global perspective. I'm grateful for the opportunities to have contributed to publications like Vogue, Elle, Forbes, Focus, and Wiener Magazine early in my career. In my twenties, a quest for deeper spiritual understanding led me to India, where meditation became a cornerstone of my personal and artistic growth. This period was greatly enriched by my interactions with Japanese painter Meera Hashimoto, whose mentorship gently steered my exploration of fine arts and introduced me to the nuances of Asian art forms. My growing affinity for Zen and Buddhist teachings, along with my visits to Japan, have quietly nurtured my love for nature and unexpectedly fine-tuned my attention to detail. In my art, I endeavor to convey the notion that true art emanates from a place of serene introspection and meditative peace. My works, which include abstract expressionism, contemporary portraiture, and conceptual art, explore themes of nature, music, spirituality, and fresh takes on still life. These pieces are meant to serve as gateways to introspection and emotional exploration. By fusing traditional digital painting methods with Synthography, I aim to reflect the insights gained from my life's journey, the tranquility discovered in meditation, and the vibrant vitality of the natural world. I wish for my art to act as an invitation to viewers, encouraging them to embark on their own personal journey of self-discovery and reflection.
