About The Artwork
This work is inspired by Matisse and Dr. Suess. First, each character is a photograph that I have taken. Then in photoshop I "cut out" the person ala Matisse, make them a solid color and scratch out some details. I then create a fantastical instrument inspired by all the HornSwagglers and WhoHoopers. I then place all of these "instrumentalists" into my digitally created clearing in the forest for a fantastic concert.
