This image is part of a series of pictures that are technical variations on a theme, the theme being a set of photos shot at dawn, in the fog, during a peak high tide, in California, at Rodeo Beach in October. The technique explored here was to reshoot the original photo with real wooden artist models, and a red rubber ball, posed as if they were actually at the beach.
