About The Artwork
One thing I love is to wander around with my 35mm Chinon camera and take pictures. In particular, I really enjoy photographing nature, especially when I am lost in my thoughts and do not seem to get out of them. I have struggled and am struggling a lot, and the only thing that seems to be able to calm me is to find places in which nature is hidden. Actually, most of the times I find that nature does everything it can to be seen, but few people pay enough attention. Somehow I like this fact, because when I see beautiful hidden things (and this does not apply necessarily just to nature) it always seems to me that I am discovering some kind of mystery, something that is kept secret. This reminds me of one of my favourite poems, which is entitled "The Lemons", by the Italian poet Eugenio Montale, which summarizes very well the concept of the mystery of nature and the willing of discovering it.
