About The Artwork
This image combines a recent color photo, taken at the Estero in Point Reyes National Seashore, with an old B&W photo of my sister Jean, taken by my father in the early 1950s. I wanted to show a crossroads, or the point where a crucial decision needs to be made, by splitting the portrait and the photo into two parts.
