About The Artwork

The inspiration for my work comes from the material itself. I work in a very improvisatory way, letting the paint, the textures and the shapes that emerge, enter into the painterly dialogue. The ever-changing nature of aesthetic judgment is important to me. Letting, the aesthetic judgment guide the the work, yet knowing that this aesthetic judgment is nothing permanent but ever-changing as the world around me influences and shapes my seeing.
