About The Artwork

'VietNow' is the title of a Rage Against The Machine song from the album 'Evil Empire'. This words resonated with me, the meaning I took from it being a code word for the war fought against us in secret, behind our backs, hidden by propaganda. The war in Vietnam came at a time of/was a catalyst for civil unrest and a feeling of hope for those of us who wanted to change the status quo. As it turns out, the belief still exists, but in my opinion, the hippies lost, which also in my opinion, is a crying shame.
