About The Artwork
Inspired By Nature A spontaneous artwork without a clear concept at the starting point. This artwork is built up roughly of five layers: The first layer consists of very quick applied broad, watery brush strokes. The spidery lines I achieved by letting thin color flow over the paper – the second layer. Next I created a kind of leaves – the third layer. The delicate, transparent structure comprises of small, outlined ovals drawn with pen and ink – the fourth layer. The white dotted lines lines made with acrylics, this I see as a accentuation in the foreground – the final layer. After finishing and reflecting the artwork, I realized that the forms and composition are somehow unconsciously inspired by nature. Painted on Paper: Guardi Artistico 360 gm2. Signed and dated on the front side. The artwork is signed and dated on the backside and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
