About The Artwork
The work was made with oil paint, graphite and India ink on scenic paper. It was later framed on a frame and special canvas, through the long, expensive and complex process of paper framing. My research began with the study of the human body. Over time my interest expanded to natural elements such as leaves, bark, tree trunks and rocks. The fusion of these different worlds resulted in hybrid forms. There is no longer a definitive boundary between man and nature.
