This picture belongs to the mentalmaps series which aims to cross the paths of geography and consciousness. In this work the mental images of two islands, Hokkaido in Japan and Malvinas in Argentina, are juxtaposed and float in a vague limbo. This artwork is also inspired by the book "The Island and The island" by the british author China Melville.
