About The Artwork
One summer day, in 2010 while waiting for our food at one of the restaurants my wife and I frequent, I was gazing at the light coming in through window and how it interacted with the interior. for a moment, the waitress came in front of the window to check the order, yet in that moment it appeased as if she was posing in the scene before me. I took that opportunity to capture the image in my head which I soon after sketched to become this painting, "The Waitress."
