About The Artwork
This is one in a series of similar sized artworks using the same image but created using different materials. The three central figures at taken from Titian's Three Graces. This classical pose of three women was then superimposed over a 6th century Tibetan scroll pattern. The figures are both hidden and become something new at the same time. In this version, the image was silkscreened onto a special rubberized fabric which gives the white a super crisp look to it. There are about 20 different versions in this series but no two are alike.
