About The Artwork
The Bund is a strip of land between the River and the flooded water meadow in the artist hometown. During a flooded week in lockdown it was the only place for the artist to walk her dog. The warm positive colours represent hope and the simplified composition the way our lives have been limited. The painting is on a cradled wooden panel and is in a bespoke white frame.
