About The Artwork
These small postcard sized artworks were created for the Mail Art Exhibit at the Richmond Art Gallery 2023 for the show accompanying the Sonja Ahler exhibit. The theme for their creation was collecting and reassembling, so I took materials such as stained papers, vinyl and sparkle letters already in my studio, and played around them, using gel medium and acrylic paint to adhere them to the paper and bring the piece together.
