About The Artwork
The composition for this painting began as a successful collage that I wanted to turn into a painting. I altered the colors and rendered my original collage as a painting. The finished piece reminded me of a UFO which seemed fitting, because at the same time I finished this painting, Elon Musk was announcing his company's plans to bring people to Mars and begin the colonization of that planet.
