This painting is from a series of childhood memory where I used to walk with my mother and sister when we were young. This painting feature a tomb of an old Arab sheik, but maybe the position of the tomb of Barak Ben Avinoam, from the Judges, chapter 4. Who knows. The light and colours is of the end of summer. everything is dry and tired from the long hit and looking forward to winter and some rain.

I love painting and drawing and other art media such as ceramics and sculpture and I love to do it all the time! In my past I was a scientist, my studies took me over three countries - Israel Japan and UK. I ended my studies with a PhD in Marine Biochemistry, and the arrival of my middle son... I am still a full time mother of three, but over the last three years I did Foundation course in Fine Art and continuing making art at the same college which I use as a studio to make my Ceramics, Sculptures and Etching.
