This was inspired by me looking more deeply at my adolescence and blossoming sexuality and the challenges I encountered at that time. Facing ones vulnerability and heartache takes courage and willingness, direct eye contact with the part of oneself that is in pain. Acrylic on mounted wood, no need for frame.

I've recently moved to London from the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and daughter. I received my BFA from California College of the Arts in Oakland, CA, then worked for a while as an apprentice illustrator in the film industry.
