This is my favorite piece as it reminds me of the true moment of observing, out of curiosity, I lost myself, feeling the true joy of creativeness and happiness. I create because it makes me happy! One night, in 2017, on the life drawing open studio session, a lady modeled with a curvaceous body, posed for my class so gracefully … it was a pleasure to observe her beautiful curves. Both my mind and soul were lost in the amazing moment of observing and creating…I felt I was touched by a Muse for a brief moment. The lines I drew on the paper was simple, determined, graceful, and full of life. I took the inspiration of Sanyu nude paintings: a taste of exaggerated, erotic, spontaneous.
