Part of a series of paintings and studies based on the idea of Truth and Perception, originally for the WOW exhibition in Rio de Janeiro. This piece looks at the everyday and simple, the same apple, but the differences seen from perspective. Rather than working with loose or abstract brushstrokes, it was important to focus on realism, to further prompt the idea of reality and view, both are accurate representations of the same, but differ. The painting is artist grade oil paints on primed wooden panel, finished with archival varnish to protect from sunlight and smoke. A4 size, ready to be framed.

Artist currently living in Bulgaria and gaining inspiration from the landscape and history. Originally from the UK, but spent the last 14 years travelling extensively and living in Brazil, China, Russia, Romania and Armenia. Previous works have focused on time and perceptions of truth.
