Just north of Sedona, Arizona Oak Creek flows through a scenic narrow canyon between steep rising cliffs. The cliffs are red rock and have interesting features. The painting was created shortly after my visit there. The original oil painting is on stretched canvas over a wooden frame. The size of the image is 20 X 16 inches.
