About The Artwork
Inspired by my love of the unusual, the unexpected, and outer space, this richly hued watercolor features a miniature moon lander and a tiny astronaut planting a flag on the sands of a beach. In the background, Earth's moon floats in a star-freckled night sky, observing the scene. This odd scene evokes a sense of wonder and a mild sense that something isn't right, and delights with its wry humor. The work is on 300 lb. cold press paper. It's currently unframed, but I'm happy to frame it for an additional fee.
