On a visit to Mohegan Island, I came upon a scene that took me back in time. A family moving on foot along a path with a sky blazing in the background. I thought of refugees that seek a safe and secure life for their families as they flee war- torn lands. A white picket fence and an inviting home is no more than a mirage for many.
