Living Ocean Painting

Aleksandra Kostic D is an Australian artist with strong classic art education from South East Europa. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) in 1970. She lives and works in Australia since 2012. Aleksandra completed bachelor's and master’s degrees in Fine Arts in 2002. on the University of Arts in Belgrade. She works across several different mediums incorporating installation, painting, drawing, video work and mixed mediums in her practice. Since 1994, she has exhibited her work regularly. Her works explore a range of ideas about women emotional inner life, same as our divine relationship with sacred geometry in nature, our ways of knowing and perceiving. Aleksandra is an expressive artist. She works directly with her mediums without any kind of preview. Her expressionistic approach to the work describes her as an intuitive artist who is willing to directly expose her creative energy.
