When I visit my homeland Ostfriesland (nothern germany) I regulary attend the exhibition in the Oldenburger Landesmusuem. Here the artist Georg Berhard Müller vom Siel is my favourite. He was born 1865 and died 1939 in a psychiatric clinic; he painted till the last moment. The painting “Birkenwald am Teich” 1905 impressed me much. It’s a painting just before he gets ill with schizophrenia. The forest isn’t really threatening, but still the idyll has not yet broken out. Also Gigi Hadid couldn’t wear Oscar de la Renta’s clothes. He was before her time. They three meet themselves accidental and play the Leningrade system of the dutch opening. The queen intervened in an early stage of the opening, but she is clever enough after 8. Re1 not to accept blacks pawn sacrifice. It’s a matter of arbitrariness but also of fundamental options in the Leningrader opening and in the contemporary art. I have to paint it. Leningrader Variante (2017) oil on canvas, 78.7 x 55.1 x 2 inch, 200 x 140 x 5 cm, www.eckhard-besuden.de Der 1865 geboren Maler Georg Bernhard Müller vom Siel starb 1939 in einer geschlossenen Anstalt. Besuden is painting antideterministic art. For the first time at the beginning of the new century (2005) in London the question is raised, whether deterministic attributes of modern painting (new, authentic, antidecorative, scandalous) must be fundamentally reconsidered. In 2009 the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung published a report about the Transition Gallery in London, and their new appreciation of art under the heading: 'we need more dilettantes'. In this case the scandal is not intended to create a better saleability. Art musnt be no longer new, authentic, anti-decorative to be serious art. The anti-deterministic artist is allowed to paint old, anti-authentic, decorative but in a new dogmatical style. With every peace of art, corresponding with the above mentioned characteristics, the artists turns against the dictate of the ruling dogmatics. He is pursuing art policy by intentionally ignoring the quality requirements of the first art market and thus he regains absolute artistic freedom. www.eckhard-besuden.de
