About The Artwork
This piece is an off shoot from a separate project entitled 'The Great Flood' series. The story behind this, which I will write properly this year, is a Fable of my own creation. Humans damaged the environment to a level where the ice caps melted, the seas flooded the land and fish swam where once man had walked. Then, when these floods receded and man could once again walk on solid ground, the fish stayed in the sky as a reminder to man of what we had done. The woman in the picture, performing the 'last raindance' is calling for those floods to begin.
