About The Artwork
The work is about aspects of the spaces we live , work and travel in. The everyday experiences and visuals become memory and story. Often highlighted by one or two things that stay with us be it colour, shape, or more of an emotion. I like to use colour in different and interesting ways, limiting colour palettes etc. Inevitable is the relationships and connections we make every day. I am a contemporary painter interested in colour, texture and discovery. My newest and most recent work is on my website. zarinakeyani.co.uk. I like to create a story which is not immediately apparent. My inspirations are Paul Klee, Mark Rothko and Kandinsky. I like the use of vibrant colour and shape. As a child I was inspired by my mum who is an artist in her own right.
