Oil on linen 30x40x2cm (11.8x15.7x0.8in) 2023, ready to hang. “Harry Potter” is part of the series “Small figures”. I wanted to make a portrait of the famous magician but I didn’t want it to be traditional, so I put the character before Hogwards castle, painted in pink. The light blue sky and the green grass are the other main colours of the artwork, which is very detailed. “Harry potter” is an oil on linen 30x40cm painting, signed on the front and on the back.

In my paintings I focus on figures and their interaction with the landscape and architecture. After spending some years being very faithful to the samples, I am now experimenting different styles of painting and alternating portraits (mainly commissions) with sperimental artworks. Also, I am increasingly taking advantage of image editing softwares in pre-production to find the best colours and lights for the painting. I use oil colours both on wood and linen. All the materials used in the artworks are high quality, from hand primed canvas (by myself, using a classic method that prevents from aging and deterioration) to colours.
