Denser Distillations Painting

This painting was inspired by my music. I play sound healing meditations with a 36" Flower of Life gong. This sound is what what I was hearing in my head as I painted. It is a very low C note with vibrational waves emanating out from the center. The crystals in this painting are in resin and poured on the canvas. This also adds a beneficial vibration to the space around the painting. My hope is for this painting to activate healing in one's life. This work is abstract as it only represents sound waves and flow patterns of poured paint. The gold is added for a feeling of abundance and luminosity. Flow patterns have an earthly and cosmic fractal self-similarity. I am very attracted to learning about sacred geometry as my background is in organic architecture where structures are created based on natural patterns. In studying suppressed vibrational sciences, I learned about Cymatics where sound creates geometry. Playing a gong, I find that these vibrations can help structure the water in our bodies back to optimal health. I get feedback from my meditation students that they experience no pain during and for a sustained time after the hour class. It is through my paintings that I hope to offer a visual translation of this experience with lasting effects.
