Sharing my latest seascape canvas with you "Corals, Fishes & A Hawksbill Turtle". I've been fortunate to have travelled and lived in different countries of the world. I've always found the pull of the sea with it's powerful energy, forever colourful changing seascapes from sunrise to sunset and her daily moods. Not forgetting the sea life beneath the waves. This piece "Corals, Fishes & A Hawksbill Turtle" is part of my seascape collection with a twist of emotion - this one being: An oasis of "serenity" amidst the reality of endangerment. These beautiful creatures have been around since the dinosaur's but now found themselves on an ever growing list a dwindling numbers. Inspired to help raise awareness of their plight. I feel we can all do a little to make a big difference so they don't just disappear. Don't you think? I've had some real fun with this piece making up the texture of the sea bed with some ground up egg shells into the acrylic paint to make the seabed come alive. I love to use a palette knife when creating my artwork as I hope to have captured in my images. My style is always one to make each painting to speak to you by the way the paint stands off the canvas bringing it into the room where it's being displayed. Most people feel art is a luxury but I always feel it's more than that it's a reflection of who you are.
