About The Artwork
The inspiration for this colourful mandala was the beautiful nature that almost exploded during the corona crisis, when cars didn't drive and people were inside. Needing calm and relaxing things to sooth the restlessness I found comfort in painting this, with a small brush, symbolizing all that I was thinking and feeling. It is watercolour on canvas, with watercolour gesso as a basis and lots of satin varnish on top

I was born on Friday the 13th in The Hague. In 2000 I settled, in an old farm in the South of France where I work full time as an artist. In general I create large size transparent abstract watercolours, work on my Ever Evolving work of art (a 6 meter fresco) and on 3D projects in nature.
