This is a mixed media contemplation on the current and perennial issues of power, corruption, ego and greed...inspired by current events in USA. As an artist, I can't escape the need to delve into this dark subject matter now, unavoidable. The graffiti-esque approach, new for me, is inspired by several artists I love: Basquiat, Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns. I seek to simply express the powerful feelings I, and I believe most Americans, are experiencing in light of the malignant political situation in our country.
